Heaven’s Rays Ministries is now in network to accept select Medicaid plans. The Medicaid plans we currently accept are Anthem Health Keepers Plus, Aetna Better Health, and Sentara/Optima/Virginia Premier (Optima and Virginia Premier are now Sentara Health Plans for 2024).

Commercial insurance plans that are currently accepted are United Health Care, Optum, Carelon, Aetna, Sentara/Optima Health, Cigna, and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. We accept Employee Assistance Program (EAP) plans and are open to working with out-of-network plans.

As of now, you have the option to submit a “Super Bill” to your insurance company, which provides partial to full reimbursement for an out-of-network provider. You will need to call your insurance company (number on the back of the card) to know your benefits and options for reimbursement. You are responsible for the full, upfront payment of services at the time of your session, regardless if your insurance plan reimburses you or not.

I am happy to assist with any questions you may have regarding this process!
